- Greg McDonald is a Produce Buyer, and Retail Specialist. Starting at 2 a.m. from the Bay Area Wholesale Markets, he Cuts, Tastes, Chooses and Buys Fresh Fruits and Vegetables daily for Grocery Stores, and Restaurant Delivery Providers. Later in the morning, Greg gets more hands-on experience when arriving at the Retail level where he inspects the product, and "works the stand". Most importantly, he keeps in touch with the Latest in Consumer Shopping Trends by intermingling with the customers, answering their questions, and attending to their needs. Also known as "The Produce Guy", Greg has been a Live on-air contributor for many years on Local Television Newscasts featuring and offering advise on the Best Produce available to the Consumers of The Bay Area.
